I-Kul Plus is a sterile solution for ophthalmic use.

Phenylepherine HCL in I-Kul Plus solution is an alpha-receptor sympathetic agonist used in local ocular disorders because of its vasoconstrictor action. It is used primarily as a decongestant. It exhibits rapid and moderately prolonged action to whiten the eye. It usually produces no or minimal side effects after topical application of few drops. It has better corneal penetration and hence it is effective in lower concerntration. Naphazoline is the common name for 2-(1-naphthylmethyl)-2-imidazoline hydrochloride. It is a sympathomimetic agent with marked alpha adrenergic activity. It is a powerful vasoconstrictive agent with a rapid action in reducing swelling when applied to mucous membrane. It acts on alpha-receptors in the arterioles of the conjunctiva to produce constriction, resulting in decreased congestion. Naphazoline belongs to the imidazoline class of sympathomimetics. Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose provides immediate relief and long lasting protection against dryness and irritation for patients with moderate to severe dry eye symptoms.

For the temporary relief of redness, burning, irritation and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or due to exposure to wind, dust, sun, computer etc.
